The current regime in AI in a nutshell – Master/Slave

The AI industry rests on two implicit beliefs:

• intelligence is the defining characteristic of humans, and 
• power is everything in human relationships.

If we are more intelligent than AIs, then we will remain their masters. But if they turn out to be more intelligent than us, will they enslave, or even eliminate us?
