I’ve listened to two (I believe) of her specials and a bunch of clips. I’ve enjoyed them a lot. But that’s not why I’m calling her brilliant. I’m calling her brilliant for the way she thinks on her feet (not literally) in “The Ask Iliza Anything Show.” People will present her with sometimes messy and complicated personal problems and she’ll come up with good suggestions, live, in person, on the spot. [I’m assuming this is unscripted.]
That takes brilliance.
I’m posting this particular episode because she used the word “liminal,” and she used it like it was an every day word that people use all the time.
