I’ve loved this tune ever since I first heard in the Ancient Days. It’s light, bouncy and bubbly, joyful, and above all flat-out FUN. Just listen to those wacky instrumental timbers. Sounds like a cascade of multi-colored sonic gum drops, jelly beans, ribbon candy, candy canes, and hard candies of various shapes and textures, all held together by the sheerest cotton candy.
And that name. What’s up with that? “Peaces” I get. “Regalia” too. But the two together, what’s that? Another surrealistic confection, that’s what.
Come to think of it, that’s a band name: “The Surrealistic Confection.”
